East Boston is a neighborhood steeped in tradition, and has undergone a tremendous amount of change in recent years. This owner occupied a two-family project located on Saratoga Street. It subtly introduced a more contemporary style that was well received by many of the neighbors during the lengthy review process.

The result is a design that meets the challenges of a narrow lot, and the need for a space that "feels bigger than it is"... a feature that is evident in the large window clad volume at the rear of the home, that houses the kitchen, living and loft area.
